The Kaseton relates to the cieling panels of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. The recessed molded ceiling panels narrow to the top and widen into to the space. If you imagine that the surfaces of the panels continue into the internal space of the room, then the surfaces of one panel intersect with the surfaces of the panels on the right and left sides of it. The segment of space cut thereby under one panel has a form that remindes one of a wedge.
